William "Bud" Sweeney, 69, died at 2:30 a. m., Saturday in the Charleston Memorial Hospital.
His wife Ethel preceded him in death in 1934. Mr. Sweeney is survived by two sons, two daughters, two brothers, and two sisters.
Mr. Sweeney was a Veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion of Kansas. Military services were conducted by the Kansas and Westfield Legions at the Markwell Funeral Chapel in Westfield at 2 p. m. Monday with burial in the Enon Cemetery.
