Alvin Leon Riggs, age 85, of Knoxville, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was member of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and worked for 26 years for Southern Dairies. He retired after 15 years from Avondale Dairies and was also an "unofficial" employee of Regas Restaurant.
Preceded in death by wife of 63 years, Hazel Riggs; son, Roger Riggs; and daughter, Becky Riggs.
