Cochran – Ellen Arnold Davis, age 83, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30, 2017, at 3:30 P.M. at Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Yearty Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Alice Fordham Arnold. She was preceded in death by her children, Deborah Davis Harper and Stephen Davis, her grandson Joseph Davis and her brother, James Arnold. She was a homemaker and member of the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The family is at 129 Clarendon Road and will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
