Greetings everyone. I first became interested in genealogy at age 12 or 14, visited Maud McLure Kelly once with my dad, and became a serious researcher in 1970. I dedicated at least one day a year to research. In 20 years I had compiled enough info to write two books, one on my Vincent line (surname) and one on my Blake line (matriarchal line).
I've been DNA tested and recently assumed responsibility as a co-Administrator of the Vincent DNA surname project (http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/vincent).
My wife have lived in Salt Lake City twice since 2007 where we served as volunteers in the LDS church's Family History Department the first time in Worldwide Support and the second time in Data Quality.
I am a contributor to numerous genealogy websites, tester of genealogy software, and currently interested in the LDS church's newly released web-based genealogy database called "Family Tree." It has the capacity to upload photos and stories along with your genealogy.
Please visit my bio page if you'd like to know more about my other interests.
