He went to work in the West Virginia Coal Mines at a very young age. He was a miner and Farmer, as his Father was before him,until a mine accident resulted in a broken back. He recovered enough to be independent, never able to work again, but was a Happy man & loved his Family.
He is survived by his wife Vicie Johnson Spaulding Eller, sons, Lewis Delano "LD" Eller of Montcalm,W Va., Cletus Ray Eller, and Lindsey Gene Eller, Chicago, Ill., step-sons Willard Spaulding, and Bill "Pete" Spaulding, Chicago,Ill, sisters Thelma Gay Eller Day, Abbs Valley, Va., Maina Faye Eller, Greenville, SC., brothers Glenn Pershing Eller, Montcalm, W Va., and Carl English Eller, Chicago,Ill.
He was predeceased by a sister, Montie Eller, brothers, Guy Garfield Eller, Otis Vaughan Eller, and Lindsey Paul "LP" Eller.
