Note: There is no extant grave marker for Martha, though the Page genealogy by Case and Sanderson (1978) states that she is buried here with her husband.

Martha was the daughter of John and Jane Clough. She was married in Haverhill 13 Nov 1674 to Cornelius Page, the son of John Page and Mary Marsh of Haverhill. She and Cornelius had six children together prior to her premature death after the birth of the sixth. Following her death, Cornelius married Mary Marsh. The children of Martha and Cornelius:

* John, b. 27 Sep 1675, m. Sarah SINGLETARY

* Amos, b. 22 Oct 1677, living in 1748, m. (1) c. 1697 Hannah (HUSEY?), b. c. 1677, bapt. as an adult 20 March 1709, and d. Salisbury 4 April 1740; m. (2) Amesbury 24 June 1741 Merriam STEVENS. Amos was a soldier during Queen Anne's War in 1710. He and Hannah had seven children born 1697/8 to 1714, with births recorded in the Salisbury vital record. Curiously, the parents for some of the children are called Amos and Hannah (or Hana), and for some of the children are called Amos and Husey, and for one child only a baptism is found, giving only the father's name. From this, some have argued that Husey is the maiden name of the first wife. A FAG memorial has been established for Amos, with no burial location.

* Elizabeth, b. 14 Sep 1679, d. Hampstead, NH 12 June 1752, m. Haverhill 1 May 1700 Thomas JOHNSON, b. Haverhill 11 Dec 1670, d. there 18 Feb 1741/2 in his 72nd year, son of Joseph Johnson and Hannah Tenney. Elizabeth and Thomas had ten children born 1700/1 to 1719. Elizabeth has an extant grave marker in the Riverview Cemetery in Groveland, Mass., while Thomas has an extant grave marker in the Maplewood Cemetery in Haverhill.

* Joanna, b. 6 March 1680/1, likely died young.

* Mehitable, b. 13 Feb 1681, d. Haverhill 9 May 1682

* Cornelius, b. 1 April 1683, d. Haverhill 24 May 1683
