Rosa was first married to Joseph John Fleck in about 1909. Their son William Jerome Fleck was born in about 1911. When Joseph signed his WWI draft registration on June 5, 1917, he was living in Spokane, Washington. The 1920 census lists him still married, living in Othello, Adams County, Washington while Rosa and William were living with her mother Johanna (Kopp) Arnold in Jamestown, North Dakota.

Joseph and Rosa must have divorced because on February 17, 1923, Joseph married Madeline O'Leary in Spokane. The May 1930 census shows Rosa as Henry William Glandt's wife, living in Gettysburg, Potter County, South Dakota. Later that year, Rosa died. Henry followed in 1953.
