Whitesboro - Edward F. O’Connor, 74, of Oriskany Boulevard, a retired employe of Brunner Manufacturing Co., died May 3 in a Buffalo hospital. He was born in Waterville. He attended St. Aloysius School in Rome. He married Martha Rieben in 1918 in Utica. The couple lived in Utica until 1939 when they came to Whitesboro. Mr. O’Connor had been employed at the Brunner Manufacturing Co. for more than 38 years. He retired in 1956. He was a member of St. Paul‘s Church and its Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Brunner 25-Year Club, Utica Council, Knights of Columbus, and the National Guard. Besides his wife he leasves nine sons, Robert and Myles, both of Whitesboro; Edward, Donald and Clifford, both[sic] of Oriskany; William, Troy, Ohio; Albert, Los Angeles, Calif.; Raymond, Yorkville, and Thomas, Marcy. The funeral will be at 8:30 Thursday from the J. W. Dimbleby Funeral Home and at 9 from St. Paul’s Church with a requiem high Mass. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 tomorrow night. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
