Allie was a member of the 'Girls of 78'. Among the groups civic projects, the group was responsible for the erection of the gate at Cedar TWP cemetery.

OBIT:

Mrs. Allie Dinsmore Krout, died at 3:25 a.m., Wednesday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Erma Crawford, in Des Moines. She had been in failing health for several years but seriously ill only three weeks.

Born January 9, 1858 at Martinsburg, she was the daughter of William and Mary Dinsmore.
She came to Fremont in childhood and spent most of her life here. She united with the Baptist Church as a child. She was married August 15, 1880 to Dr. J. B. Krout, who died January 11, 1929.

Surviving are her only daughter, Mrs. Crawford, 10 nephews and nine nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Carl E. White West Side Funeral Home in Des Moines with the Rev. Rex Dinsmore of Newton in charge.

Graveside services at Cedar Township Cemetery here will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday with Rev. R. A. Reed assisting in the service.
