Bobbie Eugene Crotts Sr., 83, of Arland Drive, died Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Becks Reformed Church, where he was an active member, with the Rev. Gerald Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.

Mr. Crotts was born April 1, 1929, in Davidson County, to James C. Crotts and Clatie Smith Crotts. He was a graduate of Ashemore Business College. He was retired furniture executive having been employed with Dixie Furniture Company and Council Craftsman. Mr. Crotts also retired from Central volunteer Fire Department. At his church he had served on various committees; and he was a charter member of Central Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Younts Crotts, who died on July 19, 2007.

Surviving are his wife, Della Moore Jenkins Crotts of the home; sons, Bradley Crotts and wife Michelle of Monroe, Eugene Crotts and wife Brenda of Green Core Springs, Fl.; daughter, Vickie Angell and husband Nat of Lexington; stepchildren, Donna Edwards and husband Tim of Lexington and Tim Kesler and wife Linda of Churchland; grandchildren, Brandon Crotts, Tyler Crotts, Madeline Crotts, Alexanderia Crotts, Bobbie J. Crotts and wife PJ, Athena Brummett and husband Randall, Tad Angell and wife Deanne, Jennifer Brink and husband Nate; stepgrandchildren, Chris Edwards and wife Heather, and Nick and wife Beth; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Hollis Crotts and wife Julia of Lexington, and Druid Crotts and wife Sarah of Yelm, Wa; and sister, Patsy Ashby of Lexington.
