LEXINGTON--Mrs. Edith Crotts Hedrick, 43, of Rt. 6, Lexington, died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James E. Conrad of Rt. 2, Lexington. She was born in Davidson County and was a former beauty operator with Arlene's Beauty Shop and was a member of Hedricks Grove United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Crotts of Rt. 1, Lexington; husband, William Hedrick; one son, Allen Hedrick of Rt. 6, Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. Conrad, and Mrs. Gail Lanier of Chapel Hill; six brothers, Olin, John, and Bruce Crotts of Rt. 1, Lexington, Hollis Crotts of Lexington, Bobby Crotts of Rt. 6, Lexington, and Druid Crotts of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Beck of Rt. 2, Lexington and Mrs. Claude Ashby of Rt. 9, Lexington and two grandchildren.Funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hedricks Grove United Church of Christ by Rev. Raymond Craven and Rev. George Ludwig. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.25 May 1963
