A graveside service will be held in the Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 with military honors.
Mr. Crotts was born on November 28, 1926 in Davidson County to James Conva Crotts and Clatie Smith Crotts. He was a retired insurance agent from the Lincoln Financial Group and was a Navy veteran, having served in World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Dermont Terry Crotts, Bruce Smith Crotts, Bobbie Eugene Crotts, James Olen Crotts, and John Franklin Crotts; and three sisters, Verna Mae Beck, Edith Marie Hedrick, and Mary Carleen Allred.
Surviving are his loving wife, Julia Hatley Crotts of the home; two sons, Steve Crotts of Snellville, GA, and Philip Crotts (Lupe) of Allen, TX; one daughter, Sylvia Bailey of Woodstock, GA; 4 grandchildren, Randal Bailey, Stephen Crotts, Dan Crotts, and Philip Andrew Crotts; and one great grandson, Jacob Crotts.
