Wesley F. Garrett, 70 of Manchester, GA died Saturday, January 07, 2017 at the Roosevelt – Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation, Warm Springs, GA.

Funeral services Mr. Garrett will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, with burial in the Meriwether Memory Gardens, with Rev. Cullen Clements officiating the service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00- 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Mr. Garrett was born February 4, 1946 in Manchester, GA the son of Paul Winston and Juanita Lanier Garrett. He was retired from Goody Products as the Plant Manager and a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church, Manchester. Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sons: Chuck Garrett and his wife Kristie of Marietta, GA; Josh Garrett and his wife April of Acworth, GA; daughter Laurie Mitchell and her husband Bobby of Warm Springs, GA; three sisters Vicki Mainor and her husband Martin of Shiloh, GA; Linda Mitchell of Burnsville, NC and Paula Smith of Scottsboro, AL; five grandchildren Mariah, MacKenzie, Max, Paxton and Eady Claire.
