BIOGRAPHY:
DEREK JEFFERY BARROW was born in Evans County, Georgia, September 26, 1962 and he died at home , Friday, January 6, 2017. Derek is the son of Carlos C. Barrow, Sr. (1935-2008) of Evans County and Dorothy Oliver (1937-2014) of Tattnall County, Georgia. He loved the Lord, and was a dedicated Christian. He served as a member of a Christian missionary project to South America on at least one occasion. He was a good, loyal friend and conducted himself in an honorable, Christian manner in all his personal and business affairs. He earned a living as a Plummer and could be counted on to do a good job. He will be missed by those who knew him, for he always had time for all those who knew him well. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and enjoyed conversing with his friends. My wife, Wealthy, and I, always relied on him to keep all our plumbing in order and working at our house, including our rental property. We will miss having him stop by our house for a visit, and, also, as a welcome occasional dinner-guest at our table where we enjoyed many conversations together.

Note: This is an initial biography written Saturday, January 7, 2016, by his friend and neighbor (just 2 miles away as a Crow flies), William Kenneth Bowen, and will be further developed soon. Stay tuned.
