Mimi was the oldest of nine children born to Jacob Henry and Laura Ann (Lesley) Moose. She married Noah Efird Honeycutt in 1905 and they had nine children: Lena L., Ralph William, Florence Marie, Winona Lee, Allen Eugene, Harry Efird Jr. 'Dusty', Eveline and Tall.
