JEMIMA ANDREWS, only daughter of Samuel, of Newington and Burlington, and
his wife, Mary Johnson, born 1773, baptized 25th July, 1773, at Newington, a parish of Wethersfield, Conn, by Rev. Joshua Belden,
then the pastor of the Congregational Church there. She married George Wolkott, as appears from her father's will, dated at Burlington, 18th June, 1806, in which he speaks of his daughter,
Jemima, wife, then, of George Wolcott, of Wethersfield, Conn. They resided
in and owned the old home of Rev. Mr. Williams, in Newington.
She died in Lovely Street, at West Avon, Conn., about 1838. He died
about 1821, and both were buried in Lovely Street Cemetery. He was
by trade a shoe-inaker. They had three sons and three daughters.
