Samuel Johnson Andrews, eldest son of Samuel, of Newington,
Conn., a parish of Wethersfield, and his wife, Mary Johnson, born 1764, baptized 3d June, 1764, by Rev. Joshua Belden, in his mother's right, so the record says. He removed, soon after the revolutionary war,to West Britain, (now Burlington,) Conn., where he married , Nancy Taylor, of that place, and had five children born, when they removed
to Moreau, N. Y., in Saratoga, County. He received a portion of his father's estate by his will, dated 18th June, 1806, the distribution of which was made 7th May, 1810. He died 18th June, 1841, at Fort Edward,
in his 78th year. She died 18th April, 1836, at Moreau, N. Y.Their children:
