Charles Lower Moore was born in Rockingham County, Virginia, February 22, 1856. When a boy of 13 years he came with his parents to Illinois where on June 30, 1877 he was married to Emma Gish. Mr. Moore came to Kalispell 19 years ago and engaged in farming. Later he established a feed and fuel business in Kalispell. For the past few years he has made his home near Bigfork. He passed away June 1, 1934 at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 16 days.
Those surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Moore at home, and six children, Mrs. Maud Hoover of Rock Lake, North Dakota, T.O. Moore of Tracey, California, R. Ira Moore of Tracey, California, Mrs. Frances Foley of Crosby North Dakota, Harold Moore of Craegmont, Idaho, and J.E. Moore of Havre.
