He was preceded in death by his parents ; his son Danny Bitsoie; his sisters Carletta Bitsoie and Mary Arizona; and two brothers, Bobby and Lloyd Bitsoie. His interment took place at Cedar Ridge, Arizona on July 12, 1999.
