Funeral service for Mrs. Nellie Witsel, who passed away at her home in this city Friday, was held Monday afternoon at the Lutheran church, Rev. E. W. Wilson of Livingston delivering the sermon. With Mrs. Claire L. Harris at the organ, Miss Agnes Lavold sang Jesus Savior Pilot Me and Beautiful Isle of Somewhere. Pallbearers were Carl D, Paulson, Theodore Lavold, E.. H. Ellingson, Sigurd T. Lavold, Olaf B. Fjare, and Sam Fallang. Interment was in Mountain View by the side of husband, Frank S. Whitsel, undersheriff who was shot in 1932. Deceased was a daughter of Mr, and Mrs, O, E. Tangen. born Nov. 21, 1885, at Moorhead, Minn. She was a graduate of Teachers Normal at Moorhead, Coming to Montana in 1911, she was married to Frank Whitesel on August 31 of that year. She leaves a daughter Evelyn; four brothers and six sisters; Walter Rudolph, Norman and Ben Tangen of Moorhead, Minn.; Mrs. Selma Carlson, Inglewood, Calif.; Mrs. Winifred Schrodder, Mrs. Ester Emmerson, Mrs, Marie Montgomery, Mrs. Clara McCrary, all of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. R. R. Coleman of Fort Snelling, Minn., Master Sgt. and Mrs. R. R. Coleman of Fort Snelling, Mrs. Marie Montgonmery and Mrs. Clara McCrary, Minneapolis, attended the funeral,
