Bernard Leroy Ritter, 91, Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Independence, Kansas.
He was born August 8, 1914, to Jeremiah and Ella (Kidwell) Ritter in Atwood, Oklahoma.
He was married to Elenora Longan May 5, 1942, in Ada, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death Nov. 30, 1997.
He was a plumber.
Survivors include a son, Gary Ritter and wife, Sherril, of Peru, KS; daughters Judith Thompson and husband, Leon, of Iola, KS, and Diana Clarke and husband, Bill, of Independence, KS; four grandchildren, Cindy Holinsworth, of Humboldt, KS, Steve Holinsworth and wife, Barney, of Joplin, MO, Lesli Whitney and husband, Jim, of Augusta, KS; and Jeff Clarke and wife, Danette, of Stillwater, OK; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be June 19, 2006 at Strode Chapel, Stillwater, OK. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Payne County, Oklahoma near Coyle.
