Sammie Sue Ferguson Bolinger was born on September 29, 1934 to Evah & Sam Ferguson in Oklahoma City. She passed away on November 29, 2016.

Sammie attended Putnam City Schools for 12 years, graduating in 1952. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for several years as a service representative and in later years for Quail Springs Mall in Marketing. She married her husband Calvin Bolinger of 60 years in 1953, who preceded her in death. Sammie was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church, Village Baptist Church, and was currently a member of Edmond First Baptist Church. She loved long talks with her family and friends, church, cooking, serving, reading, and bridge.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Burt & husband Ron and Susan Small and husband Thomas; granddaughter, Katy Carris and husband Jordan; grandson, Evan Small and wife Mariah; as well as great-grandsons, Max, Wyatt, & Colt Carris.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Crawford Funeral Home with viewing from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, December 1, 2016. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Edmond First Baptist Church or Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children.
