Norma was born on May 5, 1938 in Princeton, IL, the daughter of Harold F. and Parolee (Raynor) Stone. She married Alva R. Wise, Jr on June 10, 1956 in Walnut. Norma worked at Hartz Jeweler in Sterling for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, Alva; two daughters, Katherine Tysdale of Cecilia, LA and Carolyn (Brent) Lebo of Gulfport, MS; two sons, Dennis Wise of Cecilia, LA and Richard (Pamela) Wise of Medway, OH; one brother, Harold Lee Stone of Princeton, IL; nine grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wilbur L. Stone and sister-in-law, Lila Stone.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling, 505 1st Avenue. Memorial service will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies of the Moose, Gaffey Hospice or Eagle's Club Auxiliary.
