Hanover, Sherrie A. (Becker) Warner, 70, passed away on November 26, 2016 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Sherrie was born in Hanover on July 6, 1946 and graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1964. She was a devoted and caring mother to her children. She worked for many years at Klondike and later at Utz in Hanover prior to retiring. Sherrie was also the primary caregiver to her mother while working part-time at Shoe Carnival. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Sherrie treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, from camping, to the beach, to attending their sporting events. She especially loved the holidays, making Christmas a very special time for her family. The many memories she made with her family will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her sons, Kerry Warner and wife, Candy of Dover and Keith Warner and wife, Lorie of Spring Grove; her daughter, Karissa Reed and husband, Shawn of Dover; her mother, Anna (Mummert) Becker; and her grandchildren, Austin, Kaylynn, Nathan, Logan, Dalton, Madelyn and Benjamin. She is also survived by her brothers, Lynn and John Becker; and her sisters, Peggy Baublitz and Cindy Stambaugh. She was predeceased by her grandson, Braydan; her father, Allen Becker; and her brother, Larry Becker.

A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, with the Rev. Faye Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest privately following the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
