Born September 10, 1947, he was the son of Anna G. (Mummert) Becker, Hanover and the late Allen L. Becker.
Larry was a graduate of Hanover High School class of 1965. He was employed with PH Glatfelter, Spring Grove for 35 years prior to retiring in 2005 and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. Moon was an avid NASCAR race fan and in particular Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and after his passing Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He enjoyed going on trips with his wife Darlene and family and visited North Carolina, Tennessee, Niagara Falls and Canada to name of few. He also liked fishing and building things out of wood for his friends and family and especially building toy trucks for his grandchildren. Larry really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at their cabins and especially loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Other survivors include his children; Lori A. Haverstock and her husband Robert, Abbottstown, PA, April L. Brady and her husband Jeremy, Spring Grove, PA and Eric J. Becker, Florida; his grandchildren, Jessica L. Hollabaugh, Hanover and Gauge M. and Kassie L. Brady, Spring Grove; great grandchildren, Maverick D. and Skylar A.M. Hollabaugh, Hanover; and siblings, Lynn Becker and his wife Pat, Hanover, John Becker and his companion Deb Stremmel, Spring Grove, Sherrie Warner, Hanover, Cindy Stambaugh, Hanover and Peg Baublitz and her husband Wayne, Forksville, PA. He was preceded in death by his son Frank W. Swayze, IV.
