Fay H. White was the 2nd child of Joseph Christopher White and Bessie Marie Harris born in Erwin, Unicoi Co., Tennessee. He lived in Cincinnati for a time before moving permanently to the Fort Worth area to start a recycling business which flourished over 25 years.

Fay was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Erwin, Tenn., to Bessie Crovato (nee Harris) and Christopher White. He moved to Fort Worth in the early sixties and in 1964 started Whites Recycling. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jr. White; sisters, Geneva Rochelle and Wanda Niven; and grandson, Christopher Stanislawski.
