The Austin Daily Herald 1934-05-22 page 5: The funeral of Jens Uglum, who died at the home of his uncle Nels Uglum at East End, Sask., Canada, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Little Cedar Lutheran Church. Rev. Breivik officiated. Rev. Thompson of Grand Meadow gave a short talk to the bereaved family. Interment was made in the Grand Meadow Cemetery. Many from Austin and other towns attended the funeral.
