Mrs. Smith had been employed at Atlantic Thrift Center, Millers Department Story and McCrory's Variety Store. She was a member of Fairmount Park United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 100.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline L. Kopasakis of Norfolk; two sons, Henry K. Smith Jr. of Chesapeake and John L. Smith of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Carolyn Quiner of Chesapeake and Dorothy Davis of Virginia Beach; a brother, John Bartlett of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Fairmount Park United Methodist Church by the Rev. Denzie Daniel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Kellum Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, is in charge.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
