She was the wife of the late Providence Fire Department Battalion Chief Joseph J. Mainey.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Green) Grant, she moved to West Warwick in 1983.
She was a member of the DeAngelis Manor Tenants Association.
She is survived by three sons, two brothers, three sisters, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Ernest W. Grant* and Thelma Hogan.
