SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the Homegoing of Billy Wade Bryan, 85, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Kings Temple UPC, 8951 Kingston Rd., Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Rev. Damon Magee, Rev. James Brooks, and Rev. Daniel Trace Moore will officiate.
Billy was born October 14, 1931 in Bryceland, LA to John Lee Bryan and Lessie Fay Nixon Bryan. God called him home on November 9, 2016.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Lessie Fay Bryan, his son, Charles Wade Bryan, his sisters, Fay Feazel and Carol Bruce, brother, Laurie Bryan, and granddaughter, Amber Nicole Bryan. Those left to treasure his memory are his loving and devoted wife of over 65 years, Eunavhee Cummings Bryan; sons, Terry Wayne Bryan and wife, Kathy, and Richard Glen Bryan and wife, Shiryl; daughters, Patricia Bryan Brooks and husband, James, and Brenda Bryan Moore and husband, Danny; sister, Gail Slaughter and husband, Perry. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Timmy Bryan, C.J. Bryan, Travis Bryan, Johnny Smith, Ethan Bryan, and Trace Moore. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathon Brooks.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to, Mother's Memorial Fund at King's Temple UPC, 8951 Kingston, Rd., Shreveport, LA 71118.
