Clovis C. Schrougham, 87, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Paris Memorial in Franklin. He was a resident of Needham.
He was born Aug. 7, 1913, in Brown County. His parents were Omar and Alta (Clark) Schrougham. He married Helen Louise Condon on April 20, 1936, in Marion County. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Donald L. Schrougham of Belleview, Fla.; a daughter, Marla J. Turner of Greenwood; three brothers, Warren Schrougham of Columbus, Merrill Schrougham of Morgantown and Edwin Schrougham of Nashville; two sisters, Eva Ford and Faye Johnson, both of Greenwood; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Schrougham and Raymond Schrougham.
He was employed for 25 years by Franklin Farm Bureau Co-op as a general maintenance man and was a farmer for 20 years.
The Rev. John C. Parsley will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
