{14 Jan 2017, Revised 11 May 2021 (see below for detail): Biography of Mary by Grant Collar, b.1931. My father, Grant Sr (1901-1978) was a first cousin of Minnie Jane PIERSOL Arbogast (1883-1954) who married Asa S. "Ace" ARBOGAST Sr (1879-1952) near Ritter, Grant County, Oregon where she and my father were born. While photographing Piersol and Arbogast relative's tombstones in Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, Washington, I_included the Bishop Arbogast stone, not_knowing how he was related. I_finally researched Bishop and found that Mary (1809-1878) and her husband Solomon were the parents of at least eight children:
1. Elizabeth A. ARBOGAST (b: 1834/37 Ohio).
2. George W. Arbogast (1837-1904 Ohio).
3. Harrison Henry Arbogast (b: 15 Nov 1840 Ohio, d: 30 Jun 1926 Roundhead, Hardin County, Ohio, farmer, married Ellen Lydia GRIFFIN, 1850-1945, Find A Grave Memorials# 48527417 of 2010 and 102171365 of 2012, both buried Roundhead Cemetery, had eight children).
4. Diana ARBOGAST Idle (b: 1845 Ohio, d:_12_Sep_1915 Clay, Auglaize County, Ohio).
5. Mary L. or M. ARBOGAST (b: 1849 Ohio).
6. Eli ARBOGAST (1845/46 Ohio-1850/60 Ohio).
7. Margaret E. ARBOGAST (1851-1921 Ohio).
8. Bishop ARBOGAST (b: 1855 Ohio, d:_02_May_1917 Walla Walla, Walla Walla County, Washington, buried Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, Find A Grave Memorial# 57390524).

Mary (b: 1809 Virginia, d: 25 Nov 1878 Roundhead, Hardin County of tuberculosis - per her Hardin County Probate Court Death record), married 30 Oct 1834 Champaign County, Ohio to Solomon Arbogast, b:_1804/05 Virginia (probably Augusta County - some of which became Pocahontas County, West Virginia in 1863 and probably near Crabbottom, which is now Blue Grass, Highland County, Virginia), d: after 1860 Census and before 1870 Census of Roundhead, Hardin County, Ohio.

They were enumerated in 1850 Census of Roundhead, Roundhead Twp, Hardin County, Ohio - as Solaman (sic) Arbogast). They were enumerated in McDonald Twp, Hardin County in 1860 Census, as Solomon Arbegart (sic).

Mary was enumerated in 1870 Census of Roundhead, Hardin County, Ohio with five children: George, Harrison, Diana, Margaret, and Bishop.

The burials of Mary and Solomon were unknown to this writer, but some of their children of the 1850-1870 censuses were buried in Roundhead Cemetery (15_Arbogast burials in Find A Grave in Oct_2016). Therefore, the parents are probably buried there also - since that is where they were living.

10 May 2021: Addendum from Sarah Pullen, Find A Grave Member 48560543: "Note:_Mary is listed in the Barrington Bible" [Sarah had posted a photo of the Bible Record in this FAGM]. "Mary is likely a daughter of Andrew Barrington and his wife Anna."
