In time Juanita grew up and married Manuel Jones. Manuel was a Pima Indian from Sacaton, Arizona. They had a son "Roland Childs" on March 12, 1938. The baby was born in the Indian Oasis Hospital in Sells, Arizona. The 1940 census finds Juanita divorced with a two year old son "Gregory" [same as Roland]. Juanita along with twenty other relatives was living at her parents' ranch north of Ajo. Within three years Juanita had married again. Her second husband was Alex Bailey, a resident of Rowood. At least three of their children are buried in the Childs family cemetery: Stanley, Eleanor and Junior Edward Bailey.
