Nathaniel Vincent of Sulphur, Age 85 Is Dead
Sulphur, La. Sept. 6 --Nathaniel Vincent, one of the oldest residents of this section, died Monday at 12:10 o'clock at his home in Sulphur. He was 85 years old.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, followed by burial in the Farquhar cemetery. The deceased is survived by the following eight children; Mrs. Letha Lyons, Mrs. Dorothy Overman, Mrs. Tabather Ellender, Albert Vincent, Arthur Vincent, Preston Vincent, Lastie Vincent and John Nathaniel Vincent, all of Sulphur
(His home still stands in Vincent Settlement near the Vincent Settlement School)
