Early Life: Gloria was born November 4, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to Oliver R. and Leath Clark Stratton.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: She served in the Franco- Belgium Mission from 1966 to 1968. Gloria graduated from Brigham Young University in 1969, with a degree in Home Economics. She taught at Orem Jr. High School. Gloria received a Masters in Library Science from BYU and completed her career as Alpine School District Media Director. Gloria Stratton, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away October 25, 2016, after a valiant 5-year battle with cancer. She was 72.
Survived By: Her brothers: Robert O. Stratton (Andrea) and Ken C. Stratton (Kris); sister, Cherye Pickering (Floyd); and “adopted” sisters: Diane Chamberlain and Nancy Barton.
