Merle Malone Rites Held; Cisne Man
Funeral services were held Saturday for Merle J. Malone at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial was in Cisne Cemetery.
Mr. Malone, 92, of Cisne, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Clay County Hospital. He was a front-end alignment specialist.
Merle was born Nov. 27,1910 to John and Charlotte Anderson Malone. He married Julia Simpson on Dec. 25, 1935 in McLeansboro.
He was a member of the Cisne Christian Church and the Modern Woodmen of America.
Survivors include his wife of Cisne.
Preceding him in death were his parents and three sisters all of Kansas.
