Mrs. Smith, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Edward Earl Smith. She was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Bernard of Norfolk and Carrie Mae Scruggs of Beaver, Wash.; a son, Albert E. Flanagan Sr. of Shiloh; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Mark Linker. Memorial donations may be made to the church. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
