Mrs. Aldrup Dies
Marine Lady Passes Away on Yesterday Morning.
Funeral Services Will Be Held On Tuesday Afternoon.
Mrs. Katherine Aldrup, mother of John Aldrup of this city, passed away at her home in Marine yesterday morning at 7:30 o'clock, after a two weeks illness.
Mrs. Aldrup was born in Germany and came to this country was a young girl. Later was married to Fred Aldrup and the couple resided on a farm near Marine, for about ten years. They later moved to Marine where Mrs. Aldrup resided at the time of her death. She had attained the age of 73 years, 2 months and 16 days.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons. They are Miss Ida Aldrup, Mrs. John Kuntz, Mrs. William Wiesemeyer and Edward Aldrup of Marine and John of this city. Her husband preceded her in death about six years ago. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Marine on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Evangelical church. Interment will be made in the Marine cemetery.
Mrs. Aldup was a good christian lady with a pleasant disposition. She was devoted to her home and family and had a large number of friends and acquaintances. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
