Three Springs, PA native
Sioux Lamison Craft, 84, of Hillsboro, Virginia, and formerly of Three Springs, R.R., died Friday afternoon, 19 August 2016. She had been in hospice care for 16 days at the Regency Manor in Cumming, Georgia due to injuries sustained from a car accident with her husband near their home in Virginia.
Born 11 September 1931, in Three Springs, she was the daughter of the late Alexander James and Blanche Belle (Harnish) Lamison. She was united in marriage to William Joseph Craft on 4 May 1957 at Cherry Grove Church of God near Three Springs. Mr. Craft survives and will begin residing at the Benton House in Sugar Hill, Georgia while he heals from his injuries sustained in the same car accident.
Mrs. Craft is survived by three children, Sioux Ellen Kimberling and husband, Michael, of Leesburg, Virginia; Allen Joseph Craft and wife, Caryn, of Suwanee, Georgia; and Christopher Lamison Craft and wife, Sylvia, of Alpharetta, Georgia; and two grandsons, William Christopher Craft and Zachary Allen Craft.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alexander, Frederick and Robert Lamison; and a sister, Marguerite Lamison Posluszny.
Mrs. Craft had attended the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, Hillsboro, Virginia, and had grown up attending the Cherry Grove Church of God, Three Springs, R.R.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Craft graduated from Saltillo High School and was employed by Swigart Associates, Inc. in Huntingdon prior to marriage.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, R.R., with Mrs. Craft’s cousin, William Gene Brown, officiating.
Friends may call from 2-3 p.m. Friday at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia.
