Richard H. Olive, 89, of Gilman, Wis., a former Decatur resident, died at 5:50 p.m. yesterday at the home of his son, A.C. Olive in Gilman.
Mr. Olive had a farm southwest of Decatur until he left several years ago for Gilman. He was born Aug. 5, 1851 in Henderson county, Tenn. and married Jane Hubbard who died in 1906.
He leaves nine children, James Olive of Decatur, A.C. and William Olive of Gilman, Mrs. Susie Britt of Chicago, Mrs. Mollie Maynard of Milwaukee, Mrs. Joseph Turner and Mrs. Effie Konze of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Ida Green of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Miss Rose Olive of Gilman.
The body will be brought to Decatur and burial will be in Greenwood.
