Dies Near Wildersville: John H. Olive, son of Howell and Martha Olive, was born August 16, 1868, and died March 14, 1945, aged 76 years. He was married to Josie Florence Kee February 19, 1892, and to this union seven children were born, three dying several years ago. His wife died about a year ago. Surviving children are Bailey of Crossroads; Mrs. Lester Walker of Williamsport, Tennessee; Mrs. Ray Herndon of Paducah, Kentucky, and Mart, who has always lived with his father. He is survived by eight grandchildren. One grandson, Achlee, is in the Armed Forces. One brother, Bob Olive, lives at Rock Springs. Largely attended funeral services were held in the Baptist Church at Wildersville with burial in Jones Cemetery, Rev. Walter Moody officiating.
