Donald, age 91, was the son of James and Mary (Braun) Baker. He graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka in 1943 and completed the journeyman machinist program at the Topeka Santa Fe shops. He worked at the Topeka Goodyear engineering support shop for 30+ years. He married Doris Leona Frazier on October 31, 1948. He married Mary Catherine Hilbert in 2002. Survivors include his sons, Alan Baker and Marc Baker, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services were hed at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery (aka as Memorial Park Cemetery).
