The marriage of Mr. Charles G. Thayer and Miss Madge Westlake Thursday night of last week, was a pleasant surprise to their friends. It was expected, but not quite as soon. We all extend congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Thayer.

Death of Mrs. Charles G. Thayer
Madge Westlake, Thayer, wife of Charles G. Thayer, died at her home in Rochester Saturday morning after an acute illness of five weeks. The funeral was held from her late home, 39 Raines Park, Monday, the Rev. Mr. Miller of Brockport officiating, and burial was in Union cemetery, Livonia. Besides Mr. Thayer and a little daughter, Eleanor, she leaves her mother and two sisters, Mrs. Darrow of Avon, and Kathleen of Rochester. Madge had been a resident of Livonia the greater part of her life. She was loved by everybody, and her death, while there was so much to live for, makes many homes sad.
