William Herbert Goldsmith was born September 19,1918 in Munfordville,KY to Claude Lee Goldsmith and Dorinda Louanna (Rucker)Goldsmith.William departed this life on October 19,1982 in Franklin,IN.He was preceded in death by his wife Della in 1978,his father Claude in 1967,and his brother Chester in 1981.He was survived by 5 sons-Robert Shoup,Pete Shoup,William Goldsmith JR.,Larry Goldsmith,and Timothy Goldsmith.Also survived by brothers Elmo,Charles,James,and Howard.Survived by his mother Dorinda and survived by 8 grandchildren.William was also a veteran of WWII.
