ROWE, Virginia “Ginny” (nee: Morten), 90, of Lebanon, died Thursday September 15, 2016. Born March 14, 1926 in Cincinnati, OH to Joseph DeCamp and Edith Margaret (nee: Oetjen) Morten, she was a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School. A devoted member of Bethany United Church of Christ, she spent 32 years as a bus driver for Lebanon City Schools. A longtime Red Cross volunteer, she also served for 25 years as a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed sewing and photography and for a time back during WWII, she worked for Kueppel Photo Studio. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph “Bud” Rowe, 2 half brothers and a half sister. Survivors include two sons, Bob (Tamara) Rowe of Gilbert, AZ and Jim Rowe of Seattle, WA, three daughters, Gwen (Stan) Billingsly of Carrollton, KY, Melanie (Steve) Staton of Redmond, WA, and Mary Annice Mikesell of Fairfield, OH, 12 grandchidlren, and 26 great grandchildren. Visitation, Saturday September 24, 2016 from 10-11 AM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment follows in Bethany Cemetery.
