Ann Strother Kemp, 93 of Opelika, formally of Fuquay-Varina, NC, died Friday, September 09, 2016, at Arbor Springs.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel.
Interment will be at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Georgia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. CST at Jeffcoat-Trant.
Mrs. Kemp was born on April 5, 1924, in Tallassee, AL to the late Isaiah Durham and Corrie Lee Elliott Strother.
Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by George F. Kemp Jr. her husband of 66 years and son, Tim Kemp;
She is survived by her sons, George Kemp (Donna) of Opelika, AL and Jimmy Kemp of Clayton, NC; daughter-in-law, Sharon Kemp of Fuquay-Varina, NC; grandsons, David Kemp (Stephanie) and Paul Kemp (Leigh) of Opelika, AL, and Randy Kemp of Fuquay-Varina, NC; 4 great grandchildren, Addison, Sam, Erin and Avery; sister, Jeanette McKinney of Jefferson City, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
