Harry LeRoy Stoudt, 66, of 707 Ogden Ave., Clearfield, died in his home Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. He was born at Lebanon, April 8, 1898.
Mr. Stoudt is survived by his wife, B. Elizabeth (Ball) Stoudt; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Tomlinson, Oil City; and adopted granddaughter, Susan Elizabeth Stoudt, and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Haggey.
Mr. Stoudt, a barber by occupation, was a veteran of World War I. He received the Purple Heart; the Accolade of Chivalry, presented by the French Government, and participated in the Baccarat Sector battles, Chateau Thierry, Meuse Argonne and spent seven months in the hospital at Vichy, France.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Kenneth J. Nicholson Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry L. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Centre Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of service.
Full military services will be conducted by member of the John Lewis Shade Post, American Legion.
