Mark Owen Wilcox, 58, born in Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully August 29, 2016 from leukemia which complicated his lung infections. As he set out on his permanent vacation, he is survived by his father, W. Gene Wilcox; stepmother, Geneva; brother, Monte Wilcox; sisters, Wendy Wilcox and Leah (Fritz) Ficke; stepbrothers, Bryan (Katie) Coombes and Loren (MicheleWard) Coombes and his compadre, Richard Carranza and his family.
Mark graduated from Sahuaro High in 1976 and also graduated from the UofA. He was loved by many for his friendship, language skills and snarky humor. Mark worked for 25 years for PCL construction where he was truly grateful for lifelong friends. Mark loved to travel and made friends in many countries, including Mexico, Venezuela and South Africa.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
