She was born in Evansville, Indiana, to Ronald and Lillian Owens and was a graduate of Amphitheater High School. She was employed by Handmaker Nursing Home at various positions for 27 years. She enjoyed writing poems and working in her garden.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Dixie (Robert) Wilkendorf, of Las Vegas, Nevada; sons, Monte and Mark Wilcox; her daughters, Wendy Wilcox and Leah (Fritz) Ficke, all of Tucson; two nieces; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The Funeral Visitation will be held from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday, September 2, 2010 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL with interment immediately following at South Lawn Cemetery.
