Emma Jane Edington Hardisty of Lyons died at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday in Glenburn Rest Haven Nursing Home, Linton, IN.

She was born August 22, 1889 in Koleen the daughter of Leonard and Martha (Williams) Edington. She married James M. Hardisty on November 7, 1916 in Greene County, IN.

Two sons were born to this union:
Olaf Wayne b. Oct. 15, 1918 and died Feb. 2, 1919. Olaf Wayne is buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Greene Co., IN.

Survivors include: one son Eugene Warren Hardisty, Sr. b. July 11, 1927 in Marywood, IN, presently residing in Lyons, Greene Co., IN; grandson Eugene W. Hardisty, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; one granddaughter, Jeanie Britton of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, son Olaf, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to service hour Saturday.
